- BISHOP'S VISIT: It's all happening on Sunday with new Perth Diocesan Bishop, Hans Christiansen, visiting our church on Sunday to celebrate Ascension Day as well as.........
- CONFIRMATIONS: Please pray and give thanks for our 4 Candidates being confirmed on Sunday by Bishop Hans - Joey McCauley, Nevin Matthew, Jason Grobbelaar and Richie Sparks.
- MOTHERS DAY: There will be a blessing of mothers in the service and a special morning tea afterwards (extra contributions welcome). What a great opportunity to bring your mother and other family members to church for a bumper celebration.
- CELEBRATING THE ASCENSION. 10 people gathered in the church this morning for morning prayer to celebrate Ascension Day. Afterwards we enjoyed a sociable breakfast across the road at Stax Cafe.
- IDAHOBIT AT ASCENSION: This year an Interfaith Service to celebrate the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia & Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) is being held in the Church, 6pm, Saturday, 18 May. We will welcome back Bishop Hans Christiansen who will be the Christian representative for the evening. Please join him and us for a special and unique inclusive event. - OUR ANNUAL MEETING: Is coming up on the 19th May. Nomination forms for Church Council and enrolment forms will be available at the back of the church from this week on.
- PARISH SPOTLIGHT: This is Kai. He is an intern from the McCusker Centre for Citizenship giving 100 hours of his time voluntarily to Ascension Connection. Kai has been updating our website, marketing plan and social media strategies.
